Nomiswap LP Tokens vs V3 NFTs
Nomiswap is a decentralized exchange on BNB Smart Chain. Conventional LP tokens represent proportional shares of token-pair pools; V3 NFTs identify individual liquidity positions with specified price ranges.

The Project Overview notice reports that the development team has disbanded and can no longer develop or support Nomiswap. NMX issuance has stopped. The project recommends withdrawing all funds promptly and marks the product documentation as historical.
Conventional LP Tokens
An LP-token balance represents the provider's share of a particular pool. The earlier deposit design required both assets in the required proportions. Liquidity provision carried impermanent-loss risk.
In the historical Farms design, providers staked LP tokens to earn NMX. The LP token represented the pool share; NMX was the separate reward asset.
V3 Position Identity and Range
The V3 position design assigns one NFT per position. For example, a provider opening five positions with different ranges in the same pool receives five NFTs. NFT count does not measure deposited value.
V3 included a full-range option. The chosen range and market price determine token proportions. A range entirely above or below the market price uses one token; an NFT alone indicates neither a narrow range nor a two-token balance.
Fee Eligibility and Remaining Liquidity
V3 fees depend on swaps using the position's active range and its liquidity share there. Out-of-range positions earn no new swap fees. Removing liquidity outside the range returns one token, determined by the direction of the price move.
Full removal leaves the NFT in the wallet with zero attached liquidity, so ownership alone does not establish a funded position. Liquidity removal and fee collection were separate operations.
Position Interpretation Checklist
- For LP tokens, identify the pool whose share they represent.
- For a V3 NFT, check attached liquidity separately from token ownership.
- For nonzero V3 liquidity, compare the market price with its range before expecting swap-fee accrual.
